A panel upgrade from Gulf Shores Electrical is a complete job. We pull the permit, coordinate with Alabama Power or your local utility for the meter disconnect, install the new panel, reconnect all circuits, and schedule the inspection. You do not have to manage multiple contractors or call the utility yourself.
Most residential upgrades go from 100 amp to 200 amp service. If you are adding an EV charger, hot tub, whole home generator, or large HVAC system, a 200 amp panel gives you the capacity to handle it without overloading your system.
We also replace Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels and Zinsco panels, both of which are known fire hazards. If your home has either of these, we recommend replacing them before they cause a problem.
