Dock and Marine Electrical

We wire docks the right way. GFPE shore protection, GFI breakers at the panel, commercial-grade wet-rated fixtures, and all copper wire. No shortcuts. No callbacks.

Full Service Dock Electrical

From a simple boat lift hookup to a full dock build with shore power, lighting, and GFPE protection, we handle every marine electrical job to NEC Article 555 standards.

GFPE Shore Protection

Every dock we wire includes a GFPE dock guard box at the shore connection point. This is required by NEC Article 555 and protects swimmers from electric shock drowning. Most electricians skip it or upsell it after the fact. We include it on every job.

Shore Power and RV Pedestals

50A and 30A shore power receptacles for boats and watercraft. NEMA 14-50R and TT-30R outlets in weatherproof enclosures with in-use covers. All circuits get GFI breakers at the panel.

Boat Lift Hookups

240V boat lift circuits with GFI breaker protection and a 60A non-fused disconnect at the lift. Properly sized for your lift motor and run length to prevent voltage drop.

Dock Lighting

Commercial-grade RAB SEAL4 LED vapor-tight fixtures. IP66 waterproof, 100,000-hour lifespan, 5-year warranty. Built for salt air and Gulf Coast humidity. No cheap residential fixtures that corrode and fail.

Dock Panel and Feeder

Outdoor-rated breaker panel installed at the dock. Feeder sized for your total load — typically 125A to 150A copper for a full-featured residential dock. Voltage drop calculated on every long run.

Code Compliance

All work governed by NEC Article 555. UF-rated or THWN in conduit. No Romex on docks. All copper wire. GFI breakers at the panel, not GFCI outlet devices that fail in marine environments.

We Do It Right the First Time

Most homeowners do not know their dock is supposed to have a GFPE protection device at the shore connection. We include it on every job because it is required by code and it keeps your family safe.

GFPE Dock Guard Included

We include the shore connection ground fault protection device on every dock job. Most electricians skip it. It is required by code and it protects your family from electric shock drowning.

GFI Breakers at the Panel

We use GFI breakers at the panel, not GFCI outlet devices. GFCI outlets corrode and fail in salt air. Breakers last and provide the same protection.

Commercial Grade Fixtures

RAB SEAL4 LED vapor-tight fixtures on every dock. IP66 rated, 100,000-hour lifespan, 5-year warranty. Not the cheap residential fixtures that rust and fail in two seasons.

All Copper Wire

No aluminum shortcuts on dock runs. All copper conductors, properly sized for load and run length. Built to last in a salt air environment.
